Sanaz Javadi Farahzadi

Sanaz Javadi is a distinguished lawyer, international adviser, mentor, TED Talk speaker, and trainer, currently serving as the UKIPO IP Attaché for the MENA region at the British Embassy in Dubai, UAE. With 22 years of experience in international trade, intellectual property, and women & youth economic empowerment, she has worked across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.

Originally from Iran, she pursued her studies and career in Switzerland, consulting on various United Nations projects related to trade and intellectual property. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with NGOs, the Swiss government, the European Union, local governments in developing countries, academia, and the private sector. She has been involved in projects with the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property, World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), International Trade Center, EU, UN Women, and the World Bank.

In addition to her professional roles, she has mentored over 145 individuals and institutions on trade and business strategy since 2018. She is a recipient of women and youth leadership awards from various European institutions, reflecting her dedication to empowering women and youth in economic development.
