Has several years of experience in advising on legal and regulatory issues related to health information technology (HealthTech), electronic health records (EHR), interoperability, health data sharing, data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and other aspects of digital transformation in healthcare, privacy and data security matters, including compliance with data protection laws, patient consent requirements, data breach response, cybersecurity measures, and ensuring the confidentiality of medical records and patient information.

After 18 years in corporate legal practice across the GCC, he founded his consultancy following a 14-year role as General Counsel at Aster DM Healthcare and played a pivotal role in separating the India and GCC operations and facilitated the sale of a majority stake in the GCC business. His expertise was instrumental in Aster’s 2018 IPO, one of the MENA region's largest healthcare transactions. Under his leadership, Aster grew from 60 to over 350 units, acquiring over 100 pharmacies, hospitals, and optical stores.
