Akram Al Matarneh

Akram Al Matarneh is Associate Professor of Business Administration at the American University in Dubai, specializing in corporations’ law, international business law, contract law, and privacy & data protection law. With a commitment to rigorous research and continuous study, he has developed a deep understanding of these areas, enriching both his knowledge and expertise.

He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Wollongong, Australia, and has a strong academic background with additional qualifications in International Business Law and Law from universities in Australia and Jordan. His research has been widely published, with papers on topics such as blockchain technology, corporate governance, privacy implications in ICT, and ethical issues surrounding Covid-19 vaccination. His work has been featured in numerous reputable journals and conferences globally.

In addition to his academic pursuits, he is an active participant in international conferences and workshops. He has chaired and presented at events in cities such as Athens, Rome, and Vienna.
