Daryl Lim

Daryl Lim is the H. Laddie Montague Jr. Chair in Law at Penn State Dickinson Law, where he also serves as the Associate Dean for Research and Innovation and the Founding Director of the Intellectual Property (IP) Law and Innovation Initiative. He holds co-hire status at the Institute of Computational and Data Sciences and is an affiliate at the Center for Socially Responsible Artificial Intelligence.

An award-winning author, commentator, and expert in IP and competition policy, he focuses on how these areas intersect with law, technology, economics, and politics. He consults internationally on IP and antitrust issues, helping stakeholders navigate complex challenges. He has taught at institutions such as the National University of Singapore, Fordham University School of Law, and Peking University School of Transnational Law, among others.

He is a founding member of the Global IP Alliance and its local chapters in Pennsylvania and Illinois. He serves as Co-Chair of the University Education Committee and on the Executive Committee of the US IP Alliance. In 2022, he was elected to the American Law Institute for his excellence and professional achievements.
