Francesca Gori

Francesca Gori is the Director of the Geographic Compliance & Corporate Group - AAPAC Market Unit Legal Director - Middle East at Accenture, overseeing a team of more than 50 legal professionals across Asia Pacific, the Middle East, and Africa. With a strong focus on providing legal support that balances local agility with a global framework, she excels in leading and developing a multicultural legal team committed to delivering the highest quality. Her extensive experience spans various areas, including the strategic review and implementation of global and local compliance programs such as the FCPA, UK Bribery Act, Denied Parties Screening, and Anti-Money Laundering (AML). She also plays a key role in corporate governance, including ESG reporting, and serves as the legal lead negotiator for complex M&A and outsourcing deals across several sectors. She is experienced in handling complex disputes, particularly those related to compliance and regulatory matters with authorities. She has successfully led the establishment of new legal practices and entities in emerging markets, particularly in the Middle East, Africa, APAC, and South America. Additionally, she has been instrumental in the industrialization and innovation of legal support processes, as well as managing external counsel and legal budgets. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Accenture’s legal entities and serves as the Company Secretary. She is also a key member of the Accenture Executive Committee. Before joining Accenture, she built a strong foundation in law by working with major Italian law firms, where she provided legal support to multinational clients in areas such as Employment Law, Data Privacy, and Litigation.
