Manisha Singh is the Founder and Managing Partner of LexOrbis, where she oversees and supervises all practice groups within the firm. Beginning her career during a period of significant transformation in Indian IP laws, following India’s obligations under the TRIPS agreement, Manisha played a pivotal role in advising Indian policymakers and lawmakers on aligning national IP systems with global standards in administration and enforcement.
Known for her deep expertise in the prosecution and enforcement of all forms of intellectual property rights, she has extensive experience in strategizing and managing global patents, trademarks, and design portfolios for both large international and domestic companies. Her focus on leveraging the latest technological tools has been instrumental in developing efficient IP service delivery models, providing best-in-class services to clients.
She is also renowned for her sharp litigation and negotiation skills, handling both IP and non-IP disputes. She has been actively involved in a wide range of IP litigations, with a particular focus on patent cases in pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, and mechanics. Her strategic approach has led to the successful and timely resolution of numerous trademarks, copyright, design infringement, and passing-off cases.
A member of several prestigious associations, including INTA, APAA, AIPLA, AIPPI, LES, and FICPI, she is actively involved in committee work and regularly contributes articles and commentaries to leading IP publications.
