Mei-Hsin Wang

Dr. Mei-Hsin Wang, a distinguished Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (UK) and Chartered Scientist, brings a unique blend of expertise in chemistry, intellectual property, and law. With a PhD in Chemistry from Imperial College London and an LLM from SooChow University, she is a multifaceted academic and practitioner.

Currently a professor at National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, she teaches a diverse array of subjects, including Chemistry, Biotech Legal Issues, Intellectual Property, Cyber Law, and Patent & Trademark Licensing. Her extensive teaching roles span institutions such as Overseas Chinese University, National Law University Jodhpur, and XiangTan University, among others. She has served in leadership positions, including Vice Academic Chair of Licensing Executive Society International and Academic Committee member of the International Trademark Association.

Her research affiliations include roles at the JiangSu IP Development Center and the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property, showcasing her global influence in IP research. As the founder and CEO of the BioMedical Technology Application Association, she bridges science and industry, further underscored by her experience with firms like Takeda Taiwan and Microlife.
