
Melanie Mueller
Melanie Müller is an Attorney at law working for the Intellectual Property law firm BOEHMERT & BOEHMERT in Germany. Her professional focus lies in Patent, Trademark, Competition, and Trade Secret Law, assisting clients both within and outside the EU. She studied law at the University of Bremen, specializing in International and European Business Law, and completed her legal clerkship at the Hanseatic Higher Regional Court in Bremen.
Since July 2021, she has been working on her doctoral thesis titled 'Innovation in (im)balance? The influence of compensation claim and injunctive relief on the German patent system.' On May 1, 2022, she assumed the role of lecturer in Intellectual Property Law at Bucerius Law School (BLS) in Hamburg, with a primary focus on Patent Law. As of 2024, she is also a lecturer at the University of Bremen, teaching the course Transnational Law.
