
Nadir Ammari
Nadir Ammari is the General Counsel for the Africa, India, and Middle East (AIM) region at Michelin. With extensive experience gained both in-house and in private practice across the Middle East and North Africa, Nadir began his career at Michelin as Country Legal Manager. Over time, he took on broader responsibilities, first overseeing North Africa and later the entire Africa and Middle East region. He was appointed Regional General Counsel in September 2021, leading the legal functions for the AIM region.
Nadir and his team handle a wide range of legal domains, including commercial law, corporate law, labor law, and intellectual property. In addition to his legal expertise, Nadir is responsible for compliance, particularly in implementing the region’s ethics and compliance strategy, which includes areas such as anti-trust, export control (embargoes), and data privacy. He is a key ambassador for ethics within the organization.
He has also played a pivotal role in several successful M&A projects and cross-border partnerships throughout the region. His proven leadership spans multicultural teams, functions, and geographies. Strategic, versatile, and agile, he is actively involved in his company’s talent management strategy and serves as a mentor to others. He currently also leads the Public Affairs Department for the MENA region.
