Prof. Dr. Heinz Goddar is a European and German Patent and Trademark Attorney and a partner at Boehmert & Boehmert, with his office based in Munich. He holds a PhD in physics and is an Honorary Professor at the University of Bremen, a lecturer at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg, and at the Munich Intellectual Property Law Center. Additionally, he serves as a visiting professor and lecturer at various universities across Asia and the U.S.

He is a former President of LES International (LESI) and LES Germany, and was awarded the Gold Medal of LESI in 2005. He co-edits “Trade Secrets Throughout the World” with Melanie Müller. Since 2006, he has been a member of the WIPO list of mediators and arbitrators. In recent years, he has taken on roles such as a member of the Advisory Board of the Saudi Authority of Intellectual Property and Honorary Advisor of LES Korea. He also serves on the Intellectual Property Committee of CCPIT Mediation Center in Beijing.
