Sanil Khatri is a Partner at Baker McKenzie, previously worked in the Australia office, now based in the Singapore office, and is qualified in both the jurisdictions. He specialises in Intellectual Property and Technology law matters on both local and cross-border matters. This includes representing and advising local, regional and multinational clients in contentious and non-contentious matters relating to trade mark, copyright, patent, trade secret and design protection and enforcement issues. Sanil advises in respect of the commercialisation of IP and technology law matters, including digitalisation, Web 3.0, AI, licensing, franchising, transactions, privacy, data protection, e-commerce and regulatory issues. Sanil also provides legal, commercial and strategic advice to clients to manage IP portfolios in protecting key product launches and brand strengthening initiatives, as well as planning and executing IP enforcement strategies in the Asia-Pacific region and cross-borders globally.
