
Shane O’ Neill
Shane O'Neill is the Assistant General Counsel at Norsk Titanium, where he has been providing commercially-focused, risk-based legal advice since 2018. His role involves advising on various aspects of the company’s operations, including securing funding from investors, supporting the contracts team with agreements with major aerospace customers, managing disputes and litigation, and overseeing HR/employment matters. He also handles the company's IP portfolio, software and IT services arrangements, and data protection matters. He works closely with external counsel across different jurisdictions to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
He began his legal career in 2008 with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer as a Trainee Solicitor, later becoming an Associate. He then held legal advisory roles at Emirates and Hasbro before moving to Virgin Media, where he worked as Senior Legal Counsel. From 2016 to 2018, he served as a Senior Legal Advisor at Fujitsu in the UK and Ireland. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from UCL, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from The University of Law, a Post Graduate Diploma in Competition Law from King’s College London, and an LPC from The University of Law.
